There is a lift to all floors, and many rooms have been specially adapted for disabled guests. The Hotel is noted for its freshly prepared food of local origin.
 The Golden Lion restaurant is decorated with Dales murals by local artist Lynn Foster, and offers both A la Carte and Table d'Hote menus. Vegetarian and other diets are well catered for. There is an extensive wine list. The Hotel also has a banqueting suite for events and conferences.
